Lakeside Beauty Built Block by Block

A multi-tiered stone-textured retaining wall with small trees planted in its terraces, rising above a lawn beside a covered deck in the Hayden Lake hills.
  • Meticulous Grading

This involves carefully preparing the ground to ensure the retaining wall has a stable foundation. It includes leveling the surface, creating a proper slope for drainage, and compacting the soil to prevent future settling. Proper grading helps prevent structural issues and ensures the wall functions effectively over time.

  • Hillside Engineering

Hillside terrain poses unique challenges that require careful planning and skilled execution. This calls for specialized techniques to create a safe, solid foundation for future construction.

  • Enhanced Stability

The unique design helps distribute the weight evenly, preventing shifting or leaning over time, while also allowing for flexibility in dealing with varying soil conditions. This ensures the retaining wall remains strong and durable, even in challenging environments.

Excavation

Showcasing Our Past Excavation Projects

  • Holding the Shoreline

Along this Hayden Lake waterfront property, our team handled full site work to construct a seawall to protect the shoreline, paired with a custom cabana structure built right into the retaining system. From initial excavation through final grading, the project transformed an eroding bank into a durable, permanent waterfront feature.

  • One Road, Five Transformations

Along a stretch of Hayden Lake Road, our team took on simultaneous site and hardscape work across five neighboring properties. What began as aging concrete block walls, overgrown slopes, and worn gravel drives was rebuilt into a cohesive run of natural stone retaining walls, new parking areas, and stabilized roadside terrain — coordinated across all five sites at once.

  • Camp Bay: Summit to Shoreline

On this 40-acre waterfront property, our team is executing full site development from the mountaintop down to the beach. We're cutting and building a new road to the summit, running utilities alongside it, and clearing a separate access route down to the water — connecting a future custom home site to the shoreline below.
